I may have dropped my camera in the water once too often. Yesterday, on the beach in Santa Cruz, I dropped it while getting one of my kids up after she was knocked over by this wave:
That's her more sensible friend in the foreground.
Now it doesn't turn on. It's two years old, been to Europe about six times, and I've probably taken 10,000 pictures with it, so it's had a good life; but I'm hoping I can still get a little more time out of it.
