Actants Attack!

For months I've been working on an essay on the convergence of pervasive computing and STS, which argues that we can understand pervasive computing as the technological expression of concepts from actor-network theory. I've either got the article in a stable form, or have given up on it; anyway, I've decided to post it here.

Comments are, of course, quite welcome.

The piece will doubtless go through several revisions (updated versions will all be posted at this page) before I formally submit it to a journal.

[To the tune of Elvis Costello, "Everyday I Write the Book," from the album The Best of Elvis Costello and the Attractions.]
